Crown Isle expects to add a new subdivision in 2021. Called Greystone Estates, the project will include 36 single-family lots in Phase 1.

Courtenay – Site work is underway for Crown Isle’s newest subdivision.

Site work is underway for the newest subdivision in Crown Isle, Courtenay. Phase 1 will include 36 single-family lots. Phase 2 will include 18 single family lots and two multi-family lots, suitable for patio homes, townhomes or condominiums. This new subdivision is located adjacent to Majestic Drive.

Cumberland – Building permit issued for a four storey residential/commercial building. 

A four storey building with two commercial and 26 residential units in Cumberland will begin construction shortly. As proposed, the project will include two small commercial spaces on the ground floor, 24 micro residential and two loft style units above. A building permit with a value of $1.25 million was issued in December. 

Tofino – Contract negotiations underway for estimated $50 million Waste Water Treatment Plant.

The District of Tofino intents to enter into negotiations with two companies in an attempt to award the contract for the estimated $50 million Waste Water Treatment Plant. Both parties are knowledgeable of the project. The District has a requirement to complete this project within a timeframe and this in-depth knowledge will expedite the process to move forward in negotiations.
