Building Permits Quarterly Statistics In Around Town

April 25, 2024

The Comox Valley to Campbell River building permit total values for the first quarter of 2024 have increased by 51% compared to the first quarter in 2023. However, that is due to a $45,000,000 permit for renovations to the Strathcona Recreation Centre in Campbell River.  Without that permit, total values for the first quarter would have decreased by 16%.

Building Links has complied Q1 building permits statistics for the Comox Valley and Campbell River. Residential construction values have decreased year-over-year.

Single family permit values are 10% higher with 1 more permit than the first quarter in 2023.
