Campbell River:  First and Second readings approved for two projects with the potential for over 200 residential lots. 

Campbell River City Council approved First and Second reading to rezone two projects located north of the city, with the potential for over 200 residential lots. One project, near Race Point, would allow a rural lot subdivision and the second would create  a new Comprehensive Development Zone, Ripple Rock Estates Neighbourhood CD Zone, with 167 lots.

Tofino: First phase of a 72-unit affordable housing is expected to begin in the Spring.

The District of Tofino has received approximately $3.6 million in funding towards the first phase of a 72 unit affordable housing project. The first phase is expected to cost roughly $10 million with construction expected to begin in the Spring.
