  • Courtenay: A development permit has been submitted for 60 residential micro-units. 
  • Powell River:  Funding approvals are in place for construction of a new Lund Fire Hall.

Courtenay: A development permit has been submitted for 60 residential micro-units. 

The City of Courtenay has received a development permit application for a multi-residential 60 micro-unit four-storey rental building. All units are being proposed as 349 sq. ft. self-contained studio apartments.

Powell River:  Funding approvals are in place for construction of a new Lund Fire Hall.

The qathet Regional District is proceeding with the replacement of the Lund Fire Hall. A tender is expected to be released shortly with the construction beginning early 2020.

Port Alberni: Cermaq Canada is moving forward with a $9 million indoor Aquaculture System.

Cermaq Canada Ltd. is working with the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District for approval to build a $9 million Land Based Recirculating Aquaculture System.
