Cumberland:  Water main installation underway to new industrial subdivision.  

Construction on a new water main to a six lot industrial subdivision in Cumberland begun last week. Council issued a development permit in May for a new warehouse and processing facility in this subdivision.

Courtenay: A new two-storey commercial building proposed near downtown.

Courtenay has received a new development permit application for a two-storey commercial building near downtown. The first floor will be for a Big Wheel Burger restaurant and one other commercial tenant. The second floor will be for offices and personal development services.

Port Alberni: A new restaurant has been approved for the Alberni Mall.

Port Alberni has approved a development permit for a new restaurant with drive-thru to be built in the parking lot of the Alberni Mall.
