Crown Isle Building Links
Crown Isle is looking to expand its strata development on Brittania Place. The expansion would add 10 new units, and applications have been submitted. The above photo shows the current development.

Courtenay: 10 more units proposed for a previously build strata development in Crown Isle. 

The Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community is looking at expanding its previously built strata development, Brittania Place, to include ten more units with five duplexes. The expansion requires Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw Amendments, and an application has been made. The applicant is requesting an amendment to the land use designation and a Zoning Amendment from CVRD RU-8 Zone to a new CD-1K Zone. 

Campbell River: A 24 unit condominium building proposed for the Island Highway.

A new 24 unit condominium building is being proposed for the Island Highway in Campbell River, just north of Rotary Beach Park. Applications have been made for a major development permit along with a parking variance for this project. The building is expected to be a combination of one, two and three-bedroom condominium units.

Tenders: 11 new tenders issued in the past week.

Several tenders in this week’s issue include construction at the Comox Valley Waste Management Centre, the Campbell River Organics Composting Facility, and upgrades to the Port Hardy water distribution system.
