Ucluelet: 112 units on a 12.7 acre lot proposed on Marine Drive.

Discussions for the development of a 12.7 acre lot in Ucluelet continued with a public hearing held this week. The proposal involves a mix of 112 units in an apartment building, single family lots and townhomes.

Comox Valley: Funding approved for two affordable housing projects with a total of 92 units.

Two affordable housing projects in the Comox Valley have received BC Housing funding. The projects inlcude a 52 unit, three storey building for seniors in Comox and a 40 unit, five storey building in Courtenay.

Campbell River: Approvals moving forward for a new five-storey, 70 unit building.

Campbell River approved a rezoning application to facilitate the development of a five-storey rental building on the Island Highway, just south of the Rotary Beach Park. As proposed, the building will include 70 units in a mix of bachelors to three bedrooms.
