According to the January to April 2021 BC Housing New Home Registry statistics for Alberni-Clayoquot to North Island and Powell River, the number of newly registered homes (SF) and multi-units (MU) has increased to 551, vs 475 in 2020, and 380 in 2019.

From January to April 2021, a total of 284 single family and 267 multi-units have been registered compared to the same time frame in 2020 with 181 SF and 294 MU, and 212 SF and 168 MU in 2019.
