Call for sub-trades for 27 unit housing project expected soon.

The Campbell River Head Injury Society is moving forward with a 27 unit mixed rental housing project and expects a call for sub-trades to be released mid-August.

Development permit has been approved for phase one of 89 duplex units.

The City of Powell River has approved a development permit for phase one of 89 duplex units near the intersection of Manson Avenue and Ladysmith Street.

Lease agreement for on-water oil spill response base signed, construction estimated at $8 million.

Western Canada Marine Response Corporation in Port Alberni has signed a 25-year lease agreement for an on-water oil spill response base.  Construction of the base is estimated at $8 million.
