Campbell River Apprenticeship Employers Forum In Around Town

The North Vancouver Island Aboriginal Training Society and Industry Training Authority are hosting an Employer Forum on March 30.   

The North Vancouver Island Aboriginal Training Society is hosting a daylong forum March 30, 2020 with information on trades training and apprenticeship opportunities.

The daylong event will include information on trades training and apprenticeship opportunities, including a keynote speaker who will share ideas on building community connections and a panel discussion on strategies to develop a stronger community workforce.

At the end of the forum, attendees will have a solid understanding of the trades training that is happening on Vancouver Island, including various training models within Vancouver Island Indigenous communities, information on employer tax credits, wage subsides, and apprenticeship incentive grants. There is no registration fee, and lunch will be provided.

When: Monday, March 30 – 9am to 4pm
