Building Envelope Online Training In Around Town

BC Housing is hosting a Building Envelope online workshop the morning of Thursday, February 27.  

Part 9 residential home construction is evolving, and the BC Housing Building Envelope Guide for Houses has now been updated to reflect new and expanded industry methods. The focus of this expanded guide is to ensure that all detailed, 3D, step-by-step instructions are consistent with the standards of the industry vetting committee. The guide also includes full, 2D section details of each of the new methods.

The guide additions have been carefully developed to reflect proven techniques, and high-performance assemblies that support the advances in energy efficiency, seismic provisions and a new, complete section on Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction for houses.
