The city of Powell River will be replacing the Townsite’s current aging wastewater treatment facility with a new consolidated waste water treatment plant. The tender for pre-design and detailed design has been awarded to Associated Engineering (BC) Ltd.

Tender awarded for design for the Consolidated Wastewater Treatment Plant project in Powell River

The city of Powell River has awarded the tender for pre-design and detailed design for the Consolidated Wastewater Treatment Plant project to Associated Engineering (BC) Ltd. at a value of $1,333,366. This is the first step towards the city’s proposed $30 million consolidated wastewater treatment plan, which includes laying sewer mains that will connect with the treatment plant.

Strathcona Regional District  seeking bids for assessment of Glenmore Dike

The Strathcona Regional District is seeking proposals from qualified proponents for the provision of assessing the condition of the Glenmore Dike and associated flood mitigation structures. The dike is located on the north side of the Oyster River aligning the west dead-end of Glenmore Road. This tender closes on August 16.

Bids requested for new Quinsam Initial Attack Fire base in Campbell River

The Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations is required to move the Quinsam Initial Attack Fire base in Campbell River to a new location. The proposed contract requires the provision of three phases which includes site work, foundation work and construction of the new building. The tender closes August 18.
