Newport Village has applied for a Zoning Amendment for it’s mixed-use commercial residential development on Kilpatrick Avenue in Courtenay. They are proposing to build a new 26 unit condominium building.

The Newport Village in Courtenay is proposing a five storey, 41-unit residential building as the third and final building in their development. The original proposal in 2017 included a single level commercial building as the third building. 

Campbell River: Development permit approved for 26 luxury condo units beside Fisherman’s Wharf. 

Campbell River has approved a development permit application for a new commercial building with 26 luxury waterfront condominiums beside Fisherman’s Wharf. 

Port Alberni: Organizers reviewing funding sources for new $25 million Nuu-chah-nulth Cultural Centre.

A Nuu-chah-nulth Cultural Centre is being proposed for Port Alberni. Potential locations have been short listed, and organizers are working to secure funding.
