In this February 10, 2021 issue of Building Links we report on a proposed redevelopment of the 7-Eleven in Campbell River at 2016 South Island Highway. This schematic drawing shows proposed changes to existing store front.

Campbell River: 7-Eleven proposing redevelopment of Hilchey store. 

Campbell River has received a Development Permit Application to redevelop the 7-Eleven convenience store on the corner of Hilchey and South Island Highway. The proposed changes include a new 282 m2 convenience store with an Esso gas bar canopy and four double sided pumping stations.

Comox: Eleven new townhouses and 4 duplex units on Anderton Road. 

Comox is reviewing a Zoning Amendment Application for 11 townhouses and 4 duplex units on Anderton Road. The units are all proposed as 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath, ranging from 1353 to 1382 sq.ft. A virtual Public Hearing is scheduled for March 3.

Courtenay: New single storey multi-tenant commercial building on Cliffe Avenue. 

Courtenay has received a Development Permit Application for a single storey multi-tenant commercial building on Cliffe Avenue. The building is expected to include a Popeye’s Louisiana Fried Chicken and up to three units for small scale retail, office, or restaurants.
