Port Hardy: $2.9 million Arena Revitalization Project moving forward. 

Port Hardy has been awarded $2.9 million for the Arena Revitalization Project. This project was subject to grant approval and will now proceed. A series of tenders closed on June 30.

Comox: New single family development planned for Comox. 

A new single-family development for Comox is expected to be presented to planning staff early Fall. The project is in the design phase and will likely accommodate between 40 and 50 new homes.

Courtenay: Development permit application for senior’s care facility approved. 

Courtenay has approved a development permit application for a five-storey, 161 unit senior’s care facility. As proposed, the facility is expected to be a mix of studio, one and two bedroom suites with atrium, dining area, activity room and other common areas.
