Tendering process for CFB Comox Hangar 7 renovation expected in April.

The CFB Comox Hangar 7 renovation project is now in the “Construction Services” stage with the tendering process expected to begin in April.  The overall project value is estimated to be $36 million over approximately five years.

Construction of Village of Cumberland fire hall could begin this summer.

The Village of Cumberland’s new fire hall design is expected to be presented to council for consideration shortly. Once approved, drawings will be underway and construction could begin as early as June.

Development of 112 unit apartment complex in Powell River moving forward.  

The City of Powell River is progressing with an application for two apartment buildings with 112 rental units. The city and the applicant are drafting a housing agreement and if all approvals proceed, construction is expected to begin this year.
