Two four-storey residential apartment buildings proposed for Courtenay

The City of Courtenay has received an Official Community Plan amendment and rezoning application for 2 four-storey residential apartments on Mission Road near the Comox Valley Hospital. The project is proposed to include 94 units with 47 in each building. 

Port Hardy may start construction on new Multiplex Centre this year

The District of Port Hardy is waiting to hear if their application for a grant to cover the remaining cost on the new Multiplex Centre is approved. Construction on the estimated $20 to $22 million project could be underway later this year.

The qathet Regional District is proceeding with replacement of Lund fire hall

The qathet Regional District is proceeding with plans to replace the Northside Volunteer Fire Department’s Lund fire hall. The alternative approval process to seek electoral approval will take place in April or May.
