In this week’s Building Links we update an application for a new Hyundai dealership in Courtenay, the Cumberland Fire Hall project, and a proposed new library facility in Campbell River.

Comox Valley: Hyundai submits application for new dealership. 

Comox Valley Hyundai has submitted a development permit application for a new dealership in the Crown Isle commercial node near Costco.  

Cumberland: Over 30 tenders issued for new Cumberland Fire Hall.

Tenders have been issued for over 30 Trade Contractors for the proposed new Cumberland Fire Hall. The tenders close on December 17. 

Campbell River: The Vancouver Island Regional Library has proposed a $14 million new public library facility. 

Strathcona Regional District has received a $14 million proposal from the Vancouver Island Regional Library to redevelop the public library facility in Campbell River.  Construction could begin in 2020.
