In this week’s Building Links, we update the 5th Street Bridge Rehabilitation Project in Courtenay, a proposed wood pellet plant in Port Alice, and a construction tender for Centennial Pool in Campbell River.

Courtenay: Design work is underway for the 5th Street Bridge Rehabilitation Project.

Design work for Courtenay’s 5th Street Bridge Rehabilitation Project is ongoing. The tendering process for the estimated $8.3 million project is expected to occur in the Fall of 2020.

Port Alice: Arterran Renewables continues with plans for a wood pellet plant on the old pump mill site. 

Arterran Renewables continues with plans for a wood pellet plant on the old Port Alice pulp mill site. Production for international customers could begin in the second quarter of 2020.

Campbell River: A tender has been released for renovations at the Centennial Pool.
