Ucluelet: proposed 50-unit affordable rental apartment building

Ucluelet has issued an expression of interest to invite Non-Profit Housing Providers to submit proposals for the provision of Non-Market Housing Operator Services for an approximately 50-unit affordable multi-family rental apartment building. The successful proponent would support the District of Ucluelet and Development Consultant with the submission of an upcoming BC Housing Community Housing Fund call for proposal. Should the application be successful, the proponent would enter into a long-term lease of the site and manage design, construction and operations of the housing project. The opportunity closes May 20.

Tofino: seeking general contractor for 25-unit apartment building

A development permit application is nearly complete and ready for submission to the Town of Tofino. The rezoning application has already been approved. The applicant is currently finalizing the design for the residential portion of the building, which will include 20 to 25 units, primarily a mix of two-bedroom and studio-style apartments. The ground floor will feature two commercial/retail/office spaces, each ranging from approximately 1,000 to 1,500 square feet and available for lease. The owner will occupy a third ground-floor unit. For more information about leasing opportunities, contact the owner directly. The owner is also seeking a general contractor for this project.

The City of Campbell River issued a Request for Quote to select a qualified prime contractor for the execution of hazardous materials abatement, demolition and removal of multiple structures located in the 1300-block of Shoppers Row.
