In this week’s issue of Building Links we release our 2019 Second Quarter Building Statistics, and have updates on a proposed 200 rental units in Comox and the Powell River Aviation Industrial Park project.

A new Comox development proposes 200 rental units.

A vacant lot in Comox has been purchased to build a mixed-use development including ground-level commercial space, 200 rental units, and condos for sale.

The Powell River Aviation Industrial Park development is moving forward. 

Powell River city council approved a 99-year lease on an 11.5-acre parcel at the airport and a development permit application for a proposed Aviation Industrial Park has been submitted. The facility is intended to house maintenance operations, pilot and maintenance technician training programs, and aviation manufacturing.
