Campbell River: Council joining initiative to allow construction of 12 storey wood apartment buildings

Campbell River city council has requested the province include the city in its Tall Wood Mass Early Adoption Initiative. The program will allow the construction of wood buildings, up to 12 storeys, ahead of expected changes to the National Building Code.

Courtenay: New 56-unit rental building and 40-unit townhome moving forward

Subdivision requirements for a new Courtenay 56-unit rental apartment building and a 40-unit townhouse complex near Costco has been completed. The apartment building is expected to be comprised of one bedroom studio apartments and one and two bedroom suites with construction likely to begin later this year.

CFB Comox: Tender for Aviation Fuel Truck Delivery Terminal issued

Defence Construction Canada has issued a tender to Install an Aviation Fuel Truck Delivery Terminal at 19 Wing CFB Comox. The estimated cost for this project is $1.86 million
