CFB Comox: Tender for estimated $42 million Roads and Utilities upgrade issued.

Defence Construction Canada has issued a tender for Roads and Utilities upgrades at 19 Wing, CFB Comox. The estimated project cost is $42 million. The work includes upgrades to the high voltage system, the storm and sanitary lines, the steam trench drainage system, reconfiguring roadways, street lighting, parking lots and demolition of buildings. 

Union Bay: Development permit submitted for the Union Bay Discovery Centre. 

The Comox Valley Regional District has received a development permit application for the Union Bay Discovery Centre, the first project proposed for Union Bay Estates. The Discovery Centre has been designed to include two buildings with a real estate sales centre and a cafe/deli. 

Port Alberni: City requesting proposals for development near Harbour Quay.

The City of Port Alberni has issued a request for proposals for the development of Harbourview lands near Harbour Quay.
