A development permit application has been submitted for a multi-family development along the Island Highway behind Casa Loma Senior’s Village in Courtenay.

Courtenay: Six three level duplexes and one single family home proposed for a new development.

Courtenay has received a development permit (DP) application for six duplexes and one single family home on a sloped property behind the Casa Loma Seniors Centre. Each unit will feature three levels, two levels will include a deck, and be designed to accommodate an elevator.

Campbell River: DP approved for a five-storey 24 unit luxury condominium project.

Campbell River has approved a Development Permit application for a five-storey, 24 unit luxury condominium project. The building will include a combination of one, two and three-bedroom units, each with a large outdoor living space and ocean views. Key amenities will include a fitness facility, secure bike storage, and underground parking. Each dwelling includes a large outdoor living space that features ocean views from each unit.

Port Alberni: DP approved for a new mini storage business.

Port Alberni has approved a Development Permit application for the construction of 158 storage units within three single storey storage buildings. The project also includes a two-storey administration office and caretaker’s residence.
