Ucluelet Council is holding a special public meeting in August for a 112 unit mixed multi and single family housing development. The proposal includes a rental apartment building, single family lots and townhomes.

Courtenay: Staff are reviewing an application for a bare land strata subdivision with approximately 20 lots.

Courtenay has received an application to rezone a property on Cumberland Road for a bare land strata subdivision with approximately 20 lots. The applicant intents to create a small, community oriented infill neighbourhood targeted at first-time homeowners and young families.

Comox:  Development of 48 townhomes and 14 commercial units continue with the fourth building permit issued.

The 48 townhomes and 14 commercial units for Urban Corner in Comox are well under development. Building permits have been issued for four of the nine buildings and pricing starts at $629,000.
