The North Island College is offering a tuition free hands-on orientation to various high demand, skilled trades for women. The two week trade sampler is aimed to inspire women interested in pursuing a career in the trades.

Topics covered will vary by campus location and may include: welding, joinery, automotive, culinary, carpentry and commercial & residential painting.

NIC has offered trades programs specifically for women six times since September 2019, which has helped more than 40 female students be introduced to trades as a career. There is available space in the next program which takes place at the North Island College campus in Campbell River. To register, complete the Continuing Education Registration Form.

Start Date: March 21, 2022 to April 1, 2022
