Open House Keeps Cumberland Lake Master Plan Moving Forward
The Village of Cumberland is seeking residents’ feedback on possible improvements to Cumberland Lake Park, and invite the public to attend an Open House this Wednesday September 17th.
The Open House is another step in the development of a Cumberland Lake Park Master Plan. The master plan is intended to help guide any future decisions on recreation management, environmental stewardship, and development in the 57-acre recreational park on the shores of Comox Lake and a short distance from Cumberland.

This is the first of two planned open houses, and will present the concept plans developed from community input earlier this summer. Key considerations in the concept plans include beach front improvements and revitalization for day use; modification to the campground layout and services; trail network improvements and signage; outdoor education opportunities; and parking
The Open House starts at 7:00 pm in council chambers, with a short presentation at 7:15 pm.
