Kutyn Market Minute in Around Town

For both the Comox Valley and Campbell River, the single-family statistics point to higher inventories and longer days to sell. The year to date statistics indicate lower sales volumes, but again average prices are up.

Single Family Dwelling Sales, 12 months – VIREB stats

  • Comox Valley: average sales price $575,769, up 8%, 697 sold, down 14% – in the past 12 months
  • Campbell River: average sales price $486,029, up 8%, 439 sold, down 16% – in the past 12 months

In the multi-family sector only apartment condos in the Comox Valley show a reasonable level of inventory; 108 current listings. In Campbell River there are 19 active listings. For patio homes and townhouses inventory levels are below 20 units in both municipalities.
