FortisBC Rebates for New Home Construction in Around Town

FortisBC is offering builders a variety of rebates for high-performance homes through a New Home Program.
Step Code Pathways from $3,000 to $10,000 or Water Heater Pathways from $500 to $1,200, and incentives for Energy Advisor support, gas fireplaces, gas dryers, drain water heat recovery and connected thermostats.
Builders who engage in early energy efficiency planning to pursue Step 3, 4 or 5 may also qualify for FortisBC’s new Design Offer. Builders can choose to participate in one, two or all three elements of the offer and receive up to $7,000 to reimburse the cost of hiring building scientists, mechanical designers or integrated design facilitators.
