Tender expected for new Comox Valley Regional District office May 18

A tender for the Comox Valley Regional District’s new $11.7 million regional office building in Courtenay is expected to be issued on May 18. A notice of Intent to tender was released last week. The scope of work will include the construction of a new 2,105 m2, two storey building.

Defence Construction Canada issues RFQ for Quick Response Source List

Defence Construction Canada is calling for Request for Qualifications from local General and Electrical contractors to become pre-qualified on a Source list for Quick Response work required at 19 Wing, CFB Comox. Quick Response Source List requests for Underground Civil Construction and Mechanical Construction are expected to be issued within the next few weeks.

Newport Village on Kilpatrick Avenue in Courtenay calling for sub-trade bids

Newport Village on Kilpatrick Avenue in Courtenay has submitted a building permit to the City and is calling for bids from sub-trades for the first building. As proposed, the project is expected to be 3 buildings with a total of 122 residential and 12 commercial units.
