Detailed Design Underway for New Municipal Water Supply in Campbell River

The City of Campbell River received a 50% complete design report on Phase II of the new municipal water supply at the John Hart reservoir in March. Following a review process, the City has selected to build a pump station that will connect to the 48″ steel pipe water main currently being installed in Phase I of this project. Detailed design is now under way.

Nicon Developments Ltd. Submits Development Permit Application for Townhouse Project

A development permit application was submitted this past week for a 33 unit townhouse project by Nicon Developments Ltd. The project will be located on Lake Trail Road in Courtenay. Construction is expected to begin in the fall, once all approvals are in place.

BC Ferry Services Inc. Issues RFP for Architectural and Engineering Services at Denman and Hornby Ferry Terminals

BC Ferry Services Inc. requests proposals for Architectural/Engineering Services for the terminal upgrades at the East and West ferry terminals on Denman Island, as well as the ferry terminal on Hornby Island.
