Budget Blinds hosting open house

The new owners of Budget Blinds in the Comox Valley, Campbell River and the Oceanside area will be hosting an open house on January 21 to celebrate their grand re-opening. The open house will take place on Jan. 21 from 9am to 3pm at the new store located at #8 – 2663 Kilpatrick Avenue in Courtenay. For more information visit the Building Links Blog by clicking here.

CVRD developing Indoor Recreation Facilities Master Plan

The Comox Valley Regional District has commenced the development of an Indoor Recreation Facilities Master Plan that looks at the long term future of the region in the context of its changing environment, demography, emerging priorities and needs for indoor recreation facilities and spaces. The survey link, as well as session dates and locations, are available at www.comoxvalleyrd.ca/recmasterplan.

Hornby Island Fire Hall to be completed February 2017

Target completion for the new Hornby Island Fire Hall project is Feb 2017 with the formal opening target in April. Once complete, the Comox Valley Regional District does intend to hold an open house to showcase the new building but does not yet have a date.
