Many new tenders have been issued this week, including 19 Wing/CFB Comox Chapel Consolidation in the Comox Valley. The site visit is Thursday, February 8 and the estimated cost for this project is $1,100,000.

19 Wing Chapel Consolidation

A tender has been issued for the 19 Wing/CFB Comox Chapel Consolidation in the Comox Valley. The site visit is Thursday, February 8. The estimated cost for this project is $1,100,000. Work includes the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to complete the renovations to the Building 88 Protestant Chapel, a number of specific modifications and additions, installation of stain glass windows and other artifacts, and the addition of HVAC equipment.

Sandwick Interconnection Water Project

The Comox Valley Regional District has issued a tender for the Sandwick Interconnection Water Project. The work includes the installation of 700 meters of watermain on Highway 19A, above ground kiosk with check valves and flow meters for the primary connection to the Sandwick Water System on Veterans Memorial Parkway and more.

Miller Creek Recreation Site expansion project

The Miller Creek Recreation Site Expansion Project, 18 km from Campbell River, is in this week’s tenders section. The proposed contract requires the construction of 22 camping sites, modification of 3 existing camping sites, repair of one culvert crossing, and installation of associated roadways, culverts, and infrastructure at the Miller Creek Recreation Site. This tender closes February 21.
