Second and third reading for 100-unit affordable housing apartment complex in Port Hardy

Port Hardy council has approved second and third reading for a 100-unit affordable housing apartment complex. The project is owned by Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw Nations and an environmental study is underway.

Developer proposes rezoning 38 acres in Powell River

Powell River staff have met with a developer regarding the rezoning of 38 acres. If the project proceeds, the developer is proposing up build up to 225 units in a mix of detached single-family homes, townhomes and ground-oriented flats.
