City of Courtenay Awards Tender for Fire Training Area Development

The City of Courtenay has awarded the tender for the East Courtenay Fire Training Area Development to J.R. Edgett Excavating Ltd. in the amount of $1,545,000.

Comox Valley Regional District Receives Nine Bids for Phase 1 Closure of Waste Management Centre

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) received nine bids for the Comox Valley Waste Management Centre (CVWMC) Phase 1 Closure Project, ranging in value from $5.89 million to $10.5 million. This large and complex capital project is expected to have an aggressive summer 2015 construction schedule, with work scheduled to be complete in October of 2015.

Second Building Permit Worth $3.6M Issued for Acadia on the Walk in Courtenay

A second building permit has been issued for Building B in the amount of $3.6 million at 355 Anfield Road in Courtenay. Construction is well underway for the first of two identical four-storey buildings (Building A), each contacting 47 units, When this project is completed, it will contain 94 rental apartments. The project is being built by Crown Pacific Developments Ltd.
