Lay-off Extended: The temporary lay-off period has been extended from 13 to 16 weeks for COVID related reasons.

Temperature Checks: Canada’s top public health doctor, Dr. Theresa Tam stated that temperature of people in order to screen for COVID-19 is not effective.

Restart BC: Reopening BC starts mid May with elective surgeries, dentistry and other health services, retail sales, hair salons, restaurants, office worksites, child care, opening parks and recreation.
