Powell River is seeking a Director of Infrastructure Services with an annual salary up to $151,000. Tor Birtig retired in February after 36 years with the City.
The Director is responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of long-term infrastructure and asset management. The successful candidate will provide operational direction related to engineering, water collection systems, the roads and sidewalk network, fleet services facilities, and critical transportation services.
The Director also manages complex capital projects and related budgets, ensures compliance with standards and mitigates risks. Requested skills and experience include: a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or Project Management, are eligible for membership in APEGBC or ASTTBC and have 7+ years of engineering management experience.
