“Campbell River continues to be a very busy place for development,” says Peter Wipper, director of planning.  The meeting between a city planner and the applicant will streamline the review and approvals process because the planner will make sure the application is complete, and clarify what’s required if anything is missing. The meeting will also layout timelines for the application, so everyone knows what to expect and when.

“This is an example of how we intend to make our processes clearer for all development applicants,” says Kevin Brooks, development services manager. “The City is committed to on-going improvements to enhance the application process.”
