The Strathcona Regional District is presenting the 10th annual Upper Island Safety Conference and Trade Show at the Campbell River Sportsplex. With 15 educational sessions, 2 keynote speakers and 3 post-conference training courses, the event will feature a variety of topics for everyone from the most experienced safety professional to new safety committee members.

The 10th Annual Upper Island Safety Conference is happening this May 27 & 28 and features 15 educational sessions, 2 keynote speakers, and 25 exhibitor booths.

The conference is expected to draw more than 200 delegates from Western Canada and starts on May 27 at 8:30 am.  The trade show features 25 exhibitors from across Canada, showcasing leading occupational safety and health products, information technologies and training. 

Use this opportunity to explore Canada’s leading occupational health and safety products and network with other safety organizations and professionals. Post-Conference training is scheduled for May 29 and includes BC Hydro – Electrical Safety Training for Municipal and Trades Workers, WorkSafeBC – Occupation First Aid – Level 1, and BC Forest Safety Council – JHSC Fundamentals
