Around Town: Sixth Annual Upper Island Safety Conference and Trade Show May 25-26, 2015

The Strathcona Regional District is hosting its 6th annual Upper Island Safety Conference and Trade Show in Campbell River May 25-26, 2015. The conference is an opportunity for anyone involved in workplace safety to learn about the latest safety research, trends, regulations and issues.

This year, organizers are also offering a two-day post conference workshop on strengthening effective communications. The session runs May 26-27, and participants will learn how to improve communication in both their work and life relationships.

The conference has scheduled eighteen educational sessions on everything from stress-free driving and event security planning to dealing with workplace anger. Attendees may be eligible for BCRSP (12 technical hours) and EOCP (up to 2.4 related CEU’s) professional designation maintenance points. To view the registration package, click here.
