Around Town: Island Health holding community information sessions in Campbell River and Courtenay

Island Health is hosting a new round of its regular quarterly community information sessions to provide updates on the new $274.5 million, 95-bed Campbell River Hospital, and the new $331.7 million, 153-bed Comox Valley Hospital, both slated for completion in late 2017.

Both the Comox Valley and Campbell River hospitals have reached a construction milestone: the cranes have been disassembled. Come learn more at the next community information session.

The meetings will start with a presentation, followed by a question-and-answer session related to the operation of the new facilities. The NIHP team, Island Health and representatives from Tandem Health Partners will be on hand to answer questions and gather input.

The Campbell River meeting takes place on:

Tuesday, May 3rd from 7 – 9pm
Timberline Secondary School Theatre

The Comox Valley meeting takes place on:

Thursday, May 5th from 7 – 9 pm
Stan Hagen Theatre, Komoux Hall (K104)
North Island College, 2300 Ryan Road, Courtenay
