Around Town: Comox Valley Development & Construction Association To Hold First Meeting

A new association for the development and construction industries has formed in the Comox Valley. The Comox Valley Development & Construction Association has the following mission: “The association’s goal is to provide a single unified voice for developer and builder and professionals on matters that relate to development in the Comox Valley.”

There is a new association in the Comox Valley for the development and construction industries. The Comox Valley Development & Construction Association intends to provide a unified voice for the industry on development matters in the Comox Valley.

At this time the association has organized a barbeque social night for the industry on July 14 at the Old House Garden Inn to take place from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. This is an opportunity for developers and others in the construction industry to mix and mingle, and learn what the association is planning. The first actual business meeting is scheduled for September. Murray Presley will be the chair person and Rick Waldaus will be the Vice Chair for the start up of the association.
