Around Town: Canadian Home Builders Association Hosts Forum on Jan. 12, 2017 in Nanaimo
The Canadian Home Builders Association – Vancouver Island is hosting a full day building industry outlook forum and educational seminar series on January 12 at the Coast Bastion Hotel in Nanaimo.
This event offers up to nine continuing professional development (CPD) credits, and will feature a variety of expert speakers. Among the topics to be covered are: “New Home Program” Building Energy Efficient Homes; Energy Efficiency Provisions of the BC Building Code; BC’s Energy Step Code: A roadmap to Net Zero Energy Ready Buildings; Making the Case for High Performance Buildings: Health, Comfort, and Value; Top 10 Warranty Claims; and Asbestos Awareness. The keynote presentation by Clemens Rettich of Great Performances Group will discuss “The Strategic Small Business.”
