NIHP Community Information Meetings return in March

The North Island Hospitals Project (NIHP) latest round of community information sessions to update residents on the design and construction of the new hospitals in the Comox Valley and Campbell River are scheduled for March 11 and 12, 2015.

The meetings will take place in Courtenay and Campbell River from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, and are an opportunity to hear updates on $331.7 million, 153-bed Comox Valley Hospital and the new $274.5 million, 95-bed Campbell River Hospital, both slated for completion in late 2017.

The NIHP team and representative from selected proponent Tandem Health Partners will be on hand to answer questions and gather input. The meetings will start with a presentation, followed by a question-and-answer session related to the procurement, design and construction of the new facilities.

In the Comox Valley:

When: Wednesday, March 11th, 2015, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Where: Stan Hagen Theatre, Komoux Hall (K104), North Island College, 2300 Ryan Road, Courtenay, BC

In Campbell River:

When: Thursday, March 12th, 2015, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Where: Timberline Secondary School Theatre, 1681 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River, BC
