Kinetic Construction Currently Working on More Than 25 Projects on Vancouver Island and Metro Vancouver

February 29, 2016

Since its founding in 1984, Kinetic has become a community based leader and have had a strong presence in the Mid-North Island area for over 10 years. In 2011, our branch offices moved from Campbell River to Courtenay where longtime Courtenay Branch Manager Tom Plumb fostered relationships and grew our presence in the Comox Valley. Alan Wilson has since taken over from Tom – who recently became Kinetic’s current President and CEO.

Kinetic is focused on building relationships. We have a staff of over 130 people and are currently building over 25 projects on Vancouver Island and in the Lower Mainland. Kinetic operates as Construction Managers, Design-Build Contractors, and General Contractors.

We have worked hard over the past 32 years to build a company culture where employees are empowered, clients are valued and subcontractors are respected. With this in mind, Kinetic has successfully completed hundreds of construction projects, employing general contracting, design-build, and construction management delivery methods for a wide variety of private and public-sector clients.

Kinetic is an active member of the Vancouver Island Construction Association (VICA) with our employees and senior managers attending events, serving on its Board of Directors and committees. We believe membership in VICA provides Kinetic and the rest of the construction community  the advice and expertise on issues critical to the industry’s continued success.
