The forum’s focus is on improved collaboration between owners and the construction community, and will feature Ken Peacock as the keynote speaker. Peacock is Chief Economist and Vice-President of the BC Business Council. He will discuss infrastructure policy and financing. In addition, there will be plenary sessions and workshops covering topics such as securing the optimal procurement option, best value vs. low bid, and lessons learned presented by the office of the Auditor General for Local Government.

Anyone interested about capital assets management and delivery on Vancouver Island – especially local government, post-secondary, school districts, health and transportation authorities, engineers, architects and contractors – will find the Capital Project Forum an ideal opportunity to connect and collaborate with others in the construction community. This initiative is also supported by the Vancouver Island Construction Association.
