19 Wing Comox issued a tender for parking lot upgrades

Defence Construction Canada has issued a tender for parking lot upgrades. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to upgrade parking lots at row-houses located on Oceanspray and Mahonia at 19 Wing Comox. A site visit has been arranged for Wednesday, September 28. This tender closes on October 6.

Corix Water Products wins tender in Campbell River

Campbell River city council has awarded a contract in the amount of $436,500 to Corix Water Products for the design, supply, manufacture, assembly, testing, delivery, supervision of installation, start-up and commissioning of three vertical turbine pumps to supply raw water from John Hart Lake to the new water treatment building and Campbell River’s water distribution system.

MOU approved for supportive housing project in Courtenay

The City of Courtenay has approved the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the proposed supportive housing project at 810 Braidwood Street. The agreement defines the scope of the project and outlines responsibilities between the city and project partners M’akola Group of Societies and Wachiay Friendship Centre. M’akola completed due diligence work this summer, allowing the project to proceed to this next step. Now that the MOU is approved, preliminary design work can begin.
