A building permit has been issued and construction begun on the expansion at the Berwick Retirement Facility in Comox.

Building Permit issued for Berwick Retirement Facility

The Berwick Retirement Facility in Comox has been issued a building permit with a value of $5,671,000 for a 34 unit expansion. The expansion was approved in early May and site preparation began in September.

Riverstone in Courtenay receives building permit

A building permit with a value of $7,900,000 has been issued for the 71-unit residential building known as Riverstone in Courtenay. Now that the building permit has been approved, construction is expected to begin immediately. Traine Construction is the general contractor for this project.

CVRD seeking architectural firms for new office building

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms for the provision of architectural services to construct an office building in Courtenay. This request for proposals will allow the selection of an architect who will design and oversee construction. This tender closes on October 18.
