Construction has begun for new SAR Training Facility at 19 Wing Comox

The foundations have been poured for the new SAR Training Facility at 19 Wing Comox. New invitational tenders are expected to be issued for roofing, siding, and masonry in the upcoming weeks.

Jubilee Heights project in Campbell River proceeding with Phase 1

The 166 acre Jubilee Heights project in Campbell River is proceeding with Phase I, which will include approximately 30 lots, mostly for single-family housing. An invitational tender for site services is expected to be released in the next 6-8 weeks. Jubilee Heights is a master planned, mixed-use development that is expected to take 10 years to complete.

Building permit issued for $1.85 million Marine Fabrication Centre in Port Alberni

The City of Port Alberni has issued a building permit for construction of a Marine Fabrication Centre valued at $1.85 million on the old Plywood Mill site at 2120 Plywood Drive. In May 2016, the City of Port Alberni announced the sale of the plywood site as part of its plan to foster increased economic activity.
