Construction expected to begin in 2019 for $110 million Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) Water Treatment Project

Construction is expected to begin in 2019 for the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) Water Treatment Project which is mandated by regulations and will bring the CVRD in line with other jurisdictions across BC. The budget of the water treatment project is estimated to be $110 million.

Tender for Comox Valley Regional District regional office building expected  at the end of April or early May once the board approves project

A Tender for the Comox Valley Regional District regional office building is expected to be released at the end of April or in early May once the board approves the project. The building is approximately 21,850 sq. ft., and is a two-storey, slab on grade structural steel building consisting of primarily office space. The budget for this project is $11.7 million.

The Village of Cumberland expects to issue Request for Proposals for detailed design for Cumberland Fire Hall this spring

The Village of Cumberland expects to issue a Request for Proposals for detailed design for the Cumberland Fire Hall this spring. The Village purchased 2.5 acres in 2016 for the new fire hall. The budget is approximately $4 million.
